    Default Grubin for Gills

Hit the lake for a few hours today and managed to connect on a few good gills using a split tail grub. Saw baitfish being chased and ran a spoon w/ice jig trailer thru thinking it was some good size gills chasing but picked up the first LMB. The second little LMB is as dark as any I've ever caught.Name: DSC02283.jpg

5'6"- Have had since they first came on market and is one tuff little rod, would not hesitate to purchase another. Have read your previous comments on field testing a few models of this rod. Thanks.

Those are some nice fish. You would think with the coffee colored water I have here that most of the fish would be darl like the one you show. I doesn’t work out that way but I get one now and then that gets the darker hue. Sure nuff pretty. That would be enough fish to make me smile too.
