I’ve been fishing the Butterstick 2wt. a lot lately .
Took it to Lake McIntosh this morning for an hour and half trip . To play with the small gills there .
They’re willing to play along in this heat .
I caught seventeen bluegills , redbreast , and my favorite lately , the green sunfish .
I got home before noon and did a little yard work .
The FedEx girl surprised me while I was working to deliver my new reel for the Butterstick.
    A Redington Zero 2/3 fly reel .
At 2.7 oz it’s the lightest reel of any kind I own now. The rod weighs 1.9 oz .
Quite a lightweight. Makes the little ones a blast to catch .
Waiting for my 5’9” 1wt. to get here

Nice pic., sounds like they kept you busy. Have a Zero on my Cabela's CGR 3wt., click a bit on the loud side stripping line.

I’ve read they get quieter the more you use it .
All of my disc drag model reels loosen up too easily .
I get tired of constantly having to check the drag .
