Default Sunday Morning at the Pond

I spent about an hour and half throwing foam bugs on my TFO 6’ 2wt flyrod this morning at the pond .
Sunday morning seems to be the least crowded day of the week , except for those stinking geese .
Caught seven gills and one green trout that gave me a good fight on the little rod . Hit a size 14 floating foam spider .
I think I’ve fished every morning for at least the last four weeks .
Haven’t gotten tired of it yet .

Wow, I can’t get out every day but I’m hitting it a few times a week. Nice fish for you on your light weight fly rods.

I would like to have watched you and the green fish go back and forth. I bet he was fun. And fishing every day……… My dream is to never disconnect the boat and use it enough to aggravate my wife. That would be hard though as she doesn’t care how much I fish but you get the idea. Yet another good trip for you.

I wish I could take my boat more , but last fall I pulled a stomach muscle messing with my boat and trailer , now I can’t push and pull on it bu myself .
Standing and fishing for about two hours is my max . Hard to cast a fly rod sitting on a stool .
    It’s heck getting old .
