Looks like great fun
I started off at the town pond this morning, but after 45 minutes I’d had one taker that came unhooked after a good little fight on my latest addition to the group .
A 6’3” 1/2wt Aventik that I used a 3wt WF line on and it worked pretty good , even with a good little breeze we had this morning.
Casts parallel to the shore were a little difficult, but casts into the wind weren’t an issue .
I’m about tired of the pond and all of the people that use the park , but it was close while my wife recovered from her surgery.
I left the pond and drove twenty minutes to a county water reservoir that has a nice dock and a little shore open to bank fishing .
It did have a few folks using the park , but nothing like the town pond . I was never any closer than 100 feet from anybody.
The fish ; I caught 13 total , mostly on the small side , but willing to fight a good fight on the light fly rod .
Their was no goose or dog poop anywhere and the water was fairly clear , even after the thunderstorms we had last night.
I’ll be going back .

Nice location, maybe they will bed close-by on the next Full moon and you can get some bruisers.

Very nice looking area and looks to be a good bit of water to investigate. Sometimes those distractions start to wear on you and you need a change of scenery.
