    Default Pa. fly eaters

Glad to see those two mallards take flight when I walked in today, which means I have the lake to myself. Always a good thing for the novice with a flyrod. Enjoyed some action with the glass 3 wt., the gills and crappies put a nice bend in that little stick. Thanks for lookin!Name: DSC01789.jpg

Nothing like a light fly rod with pans. A blast to fish with them.

Looks like a fun time was had, my father was a fly rod whiz on the Panfish. Certain times during the Summer he could catch more than me from the back of the boat on the fly rod.

Some nice catches. Looks like they are in spawn mode, by the looks of their tails. Is this a shallow lake?

    S-10,
Strip mine lake built by coal company back in 50's-60's and for the most part fairly shallow. Thanks.
