I've fished the Nikko pin worm a lot and it's great. Super durable and the fish love it. Looks like your fish liked it too.
With the success of the Cultiva Microworm, I thought I'd give the Nikko Pin Straight worm (I guess) 1.9 inch a try the last few days.
This lure is even thinner than the Microworm but very durable. I had a few tail bites by small ones and no tearing. All the Nikko lures I've used (like the Hellgrammite) are good for dozens and dozens of fish.
Quite a few caught and some of good size (and several Crappie, not pictured).
Almost felt bad catching this one. He's had some tough times previously!
And a big Shellcracker ready to lay eggs.
Nikko calls these ultra-finesse soft plastics. I call them fish catchers!

Nice fish and pics.
I have a mold for a 1.8 Troutino worm. The gills really seem to like it.

Yeah, that one injury was pretty bad. Something took a big chomp right there.

I got the Nikko delivers today. Postage was a joke through Amazon. But they are cool looking. What weigh jig would you use?
Kinda looks like a Cubby Mini-Mite without the cone end on the tail.
1/32 oz for sure and those nikko worms are fish catchers for sure. The caddis fly and the wax worm will put in some work as well
