Micanopy, I thought the same thing. It was also a couple of young guys on a road trip that just happened to pick up the boat too. The time spent with them was a pleasant experience. He was at the Air Force academy until they told him that his 6’5” frame was too big for fighter jets. He lost interest and now goes to a different school and pursuits. He got it for the rivers near home and an occasional road trip. As far as it being a happy day, it was for me. In selling the boat I also included everything I had that related to it. That cleared a lot of space around the little area that I have to keep my junk in. Also, being his first boat, I wanted to give him what education I could pack into our time together. He asked good questions and absorbed a good bit of the info we spoke of. When they drove off I had a clear conscience that he got a good deal and I did all I could in the time allowed. They got home last night without issue. So all said and done, it was a happy day. And very unusual for a Craigslist transaction, they usually always have baggage.
