    dixieangler, it looked sort of like that, but it had no red at all. It was just shades of green and some white. I already searched the FF&W website and didn't find anything that looked like it could be what I caught. It's got me stumped.

    Might be a hybrid of some sort that would not necessarily be a particular kind. Hybrid fish may have traits of different kinds of particular bream. Did you look up a Flier to see if that was it? A Flier has a dark vertical streak below the eye. I have caught these before also, just not very often.

    Yep, I looked that up too. It must have been some sort of hybrid. I wish I'd got a picture because it looked really cool.

    I don’t think it’s unusual for the female shelcrackers to not show any red. They are also often lighter colored with more of a yellowish tint.
