I have the same rod has Richard Gene uses and it is a graphite rod not fiberglass. It is a Eagle Claw Powerlight not Featherweight. The Featherweight is all fiberglass rod and it is very whippy. The Powerlight he uses is a medium light rod for sure. I found one at my local Academy just laying in the corner. I ran it thru the scanner and it came up $12.99. It has the same action as my Okuma Celilo medium light action rod. I have not been able to find another Powerlight rod anywhere.
