Had some cool mornings lately with a lot of wind .
Going try to make a pond visit this afternoon , if I can decide which dang rod/reel combo to take . .
I’ll be glad when I can get my boat out . I usually take four combos in the boat .
That way if I’m not happy with one I have a few to choose from without walking back to the vehicle.

Good deal you could get out for a short session. Nice way to recharge the batteries a bit.

My trip to the pond this evening didn’t turn out too good .
With all of runoff and geese waste around that place , the pond has a huge algae bloom . Couldn’t find a spot to cast that didn’t come in with a glob of algae on my jig .
I didn’t remember seeing it this bad two days ago . But that was in the late morning.
I may try another morning trip to see if it’s any better before the sun gets high .
If not , it’s going to be a few weeks until I can make it to anywhere else .
Can’t get far from the house right now .

Sorry to hear about the algae problem, hope you can figure out an alternative that lets you get a few soon. Still praying for your wife’s improvement.

Thanks Skeet , my wife continues to get better everyday . Two more weeks from this Thursday before she goes back to the doctor for evaluation.

I was able to figure out I need to fish the town pond in the morning. It seems the sun causes the algae to bloom during the daylight and it sinks sinks to the bottom at night .
