Default Good day gillin on the ice

Put my 4mm tungsten jig head and glow maki bait to work Sunday here in Pennsylvania on Pymatuning lake. The ice is 8” thick and building.

Great bunch of fillets! You got the touch for em. Hope you stayed warm out there, I’ve never ice fished and it sounds cold to me.

I used to love to ice fish back in the 70’s and 80’s.
Way before electric and gasoline augers where around here in Indiana.
Had to order my manual auger along with ice flies and poles from up north.
I still have all of my stuff but seems like hardly enough ice here anymore.
Once you find them you can stack the bluegill up on the ice.
    Thanks for posting.
Brings back old memories for sure.
