Some of those ice shacks look awesome. Spending the weekend out fishing in the warm comfort of the shack would be great.
I hate to say it but I will sit this one out as well. We don’t get ice thick enough very often anyway. I was checking my creek for open water and skim ice yesterday, but didn’t stay long as the park is open for permit bow hunting. Best to stay away until the end of the month.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Nice clean fillets, looking great.
Used to ice fish in the past. Started in the 70's with a spud, a five gallon pail and tip ups. By the late 90's we had tents, heaters, gas augers flashers. electric knives and used nothing but jigging poles and we used to catch all the fish we wanted. Now it is winters in Florida but love to see pics of son/grand son still catching them and having a great time.
