I fished for the last three days since it got above 40 degrees. There was about 1/2" of ice around the dock where I wanted to fish so I had to break ice the first two days. The first two days were dink days, besides the bass caught on day 2. Ice was gone around the dock by day 3 so I can finally cast. 1/48 CHUB with #10 sickle is still tearing them up. I was using it with a weighted float and casting into the wind which was blowing about 10mph. Best retrieve was nothing just keeping most of the slack out of the line and or stop and look away to talk to people walking by and then look back for my float and it would be under. Probably caught 30 or so bass, crappie, bluegill and redear doing this in about 3 hours. I caught four nice slabs from 10-13" and about a dozen smaller ones including some babies. I did lose two giants over 15" when hook pulled out. Water is clear right now so got a good look at both, too bad you can't take pictures of the lost ones.Name: IMG_E2823.jpg
