great day on small jigs and light tackle for sure and appreciate that weather. WE are dealing with frozen lakes and COLD here in midwest but it's ok. It's january supposed to be cold at times. does get in way of fishing for our beloved crappie and the MDC stocked trout.

while your peeling clothes we are wearing our flannel lined jeans and heavy shirts.

There was one fish that I didn’t add into the post. They normally don’t take jigs very much, but occasionally they fall prey. This one would bring $2 or more at a tackle shop as Bass bait, the Golden Shiner. They fight pretty good at this size.

The local reservoir I fish have a nice population of those in it .
I’ve caught several on micro jigs over the years during warm winter days .
They put up a good fight on an UL .
