Default No Gills, but no Skunk

Made it to the town pond this evening, first time since the weather change . High today was 54 and once it hit it , the temps started dropping as the sun began it’s disappearing act around 5pm .
I got in a little over an hour of jig tossing that produced two small LM bass One about 7” . This time of year , I’ll take any thing that’ll give me a thump on the line .
My jig was an idea that came to me about lunch time today . On a 1/64 jig I tied some rabbit fur just behind the ball leaving the hook shank blank . On the hook shank , I threaded a Trout Magnet . Has a great swimming action and produced the only fish caught today.
Having to use my phone to post . Our internet has been down since Monday

Now that the weather has changed with 30 degree temps at night , the pond cools fast .
Either I’m not fishing in the right areas or the small bass are more willing to cooperate.
I may switch up my tactics and target the bass .
I just like to feel the thump and have my line stretched .
We got rain coming in tomorrow after lunchtime, I may try to get in another hour or so before the wet stuff gets here . Temps are supposed to be upper 40’s .
