I've had two of the Piscifun Carbon-X 1000 reels for almost two years. Caught a lot of fish with them (probably close to 1000), including 15-20 bass, some up to 4 pounds. Never had any trouble with either. Put a shallow spool on one, since they sold them for 13 dollars. Took one apart after a year to see what was inside and do a clean and lube. It runs even smoother now than it did before. It's every bit as smooth and low inertia winding as the Diawa reels I have in the same price class. And the screw in handle is superior to the Diawa through gear type handle. Looks like they are currently selling for $70. And I see they offer a 500 size now too. I was initially interested because of the 5.7 oz weight and some of the other features. Maybe I'll post pics of the tear down one of these days.
