Default Varvias and the perfect pairing

OK I'm no Randy in knowledge but I do know sweet when it's in my hands. Abu Slow Taper special 6'7" 2017 Presso 1025 limited and 3# Varvias twitch master with a 1/24 Sugar Bug chartesue/chartreuse/chartreuse has been puttin em in the boat. Sugar bug is a local made jelly jig similar to the origional hal fly FYI. If I ever get my 2021 Presso maybe even a little sweeter but if it get's better than what I'm using I may never get out of the boat. Hard to pull the trolling motor up and head home right now. Life is good. Scott

Sorry about lack of pics. It's a combination of 2 things, lack of knowledge and POOR internt. Hopefuly sometime this year Elon will get starlink up and running, then I'll get a tutorial from Jawjatek on how to do it. Also one big key to the pairing I should have added is the 8616 Garmin livescope which is kicking butt. I probaly should also include my new boat, SeaArk BC 210 which I bought to be able to fish 2 people up front while livescope sniping. It does the job very well. Scott

Here is a Green Sunfish caught on the Full Moon using theVarivas Blue Moon! Name: IMG_1438.jpg

The rod is the ABU Eradicator Finesse in the 7.6L and the reel is the 2015 Daiwa Luvias 1003, a sweet little combination as well.

That line goes well with the bluish paint on that reel. Nice looking fish too!

Nice fish and beautiful setup, Stan. These JDM lines are really taking off here at CCom.

Good to hear. I am no expert but I am sure glad I listened to Chris about using JDM lines. I had been using ester line for a couple of years when he suggested trying some JDM nylon. I have come to believe that for UL anglers that the use of all 3 types of line...ester...FC..and nylon have their place. Used the Twitch Master this past week trout fishing with my son and the Blue Moon FC line yesterday to land over 100 fish out of 23 feet of water....most of them crappie. My son is now on the Twitch Master bandwagon and commented that "He wished he had started using it sooner".
