    Default Start to Finish

Again, fished between the T-storms yesterday. Could see a few fish coming to the surface so decided to try a black #10 foam beetle. Started off with this scrappy little hybrid and the next half dozen gills were all about the same size. Caught a couple of better ones, and ended with a nice chunky bull gill. Didn't catch a whole lot of fish but learning to use this fly gear is fun, however, not without some frustrating moments. Glad only the fish are watching.Name: DSC00840.jpg

Foam beetles work well, MR, and in all colors. When I was tying I could make up a bunch pretty fast, And is an easy tie.
