    Default Casting spoons for gills...

and a few OTHERS. 1/16oz. 1" Slender spoons w/single #10 hook dressed with 1" tubes on a Norsemen Outdoors ESP 5 1/2' 1 piece. Nice little rod I bought when they first came out years ago. 1/64-1/16oz. 2-4lb line. Still enjoy fishing it and can hold its own which the pics show. Bonus was that beautiful black crappie. Threw a couple of cranks before leaving. Funny how the smallest fish of the day hit those. Snapped a pic of the lake on the way out and something caught my eye as I headed down the trail. Some beautiful photos there, MR. The setting itself looks beautiful and the fish are great looking. Bank fishing or wade?

    Bob,
Can fish whole left bank and dam area, the other bank is solid brush. I have been known to wade (unintentionally) at times.

That is a great looking place to fish. Looks like it has a good population of fish also.

Good catch and pics. That first rod reel combination is cool.

Great bag of fish and I’ll take the rod when you’re done with it. I tell people that I love to fish and they lose interest in the conversation rather quickly, most times. What they don’t understand and what I’m not going to clue them in on is the beautiful places that we get to enjoy along the way. That real estate that you show is wonderful, I could lose track of time there real easy. Thanks for the share.

    Nice post and catch.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
