Nice fish and a great time with your dad.
My father and I had a good half day of fishing today on a central Florida lake. Afternoon rain patterns have started here, and that has cooled the water off a bit to 80 degrees where we were fishing. We managed to dodge storms today and had a fun day catching bass, coppernose bluegill, specks, bullhead catfish and an odd plecko catfish. I had the best success on a crappie magnet white/chartreuse with a 1/16 oz jig head. Flipped worms a bit and caught a few nice bass. Bluegill are bedding, judging by the red tails from fanning beds but haven't hit the jackpot just yet. Maybe next full moon!
Some absolute beauties there, PN! Those bass look like they were bruisers!

Sounds like a great way to spend half a day
