    Default Nine dinks and one respectable guy


    Went to the small pond, I spent almost every night this time last year. Haven’t been there much as of late, i’m typically willing to walk 10 more minutes for a better experience.

    They were biting tonight, but man were they small. I got one “fighter” at the end, and one of the dinks seemed Name:  IMG_8222.jpg

    Like you, I don’t mind a walk for a better experience. Even the little guys can be fun on light tackle.

    That first pic looks to be a small green sunfish with the mouth larger than a gill, coloration and bass shaped body. I too am happy to walk in to a nice place to fish.

    Fair enough! I only had an hour, and I didn’t want to spend 20 minutes of walking. Lesson learned I guess.
