After doing well at this lake the other day, I decided to hit it again. While on Friday, small spinners w/various trailing plastics worked well, it was not the case today. The first two gills hit a floating Rapala with a single rear hook on a slow retrieve. Both real nice fish. Lost a real good fish on another crankbait when he jumped and threw the hook right off shore. Most of the other fish hit Creme angle worms cut in half/on a #10 fly hook trailed about 3 ft. behind a small strike indicator fished stop and go. Also had a few good fish I couldn't stop before running me into submerged trees and hanging up. Always hate when that happens and you cannot get them dislodged no matter what you try. And lucky me, another little beauty of a pumpkinseed landed today. Pic was taken on a log that the beavers have chewed the bark off of. All and all, just another great day to be out there fishin!Name: DSC00724.jpg
