If you use trout magnets in weeds, what is your technique? I can't recall any of your videos with weeds.

I did years back...when I used 6 pound test lines. Since I am now using very light lines I just don't fish weeds anymore...and yes I know I am probably missing out on a lot of fish. Nickajack in summer gets covered up with weeds and I am sure in very early morning and late evening bluegill come up in them to feed. I used to use it on a drop shot setup tipped with a piece of Berkley Power Wiggler. It was pretty darn effective.

My situation is the big bg are always deep into 12 ft of weeds. Lots of lure cleaning going on almost every cast.
