    Default Almost escaped the skunk

The sun was shining, and the water was crystal clear, and it seems the fish were pre-occupied with making their beds, so the spawn should have started by the next time I go out. I got a few bites, but they mostly let go before biting on the hook itself, but I did get one fish to take my lure, only to lose it about a foot or 2 from the shore.

No pictures, but as the spawn comes I'll take some.

Sounds like you are beyond the cusp. Next time should be it!

Unfortunately life gets in the way some times, but hopefully I'll be able to go out at least once or twice a week.

I’m retired now and wonder how I ever had time to go fishing. There’s always something that needs doing or my old worn out body will not let me go. Fish every chance you can cause the next time may be just what you’re looking for.
