Wow, that really is an itty bitty. What is it called? Looks to be an ideal size!

It definitely is a lot of fun when they hit those little cranks. Nice pics and fish.

Pretty fish. I have some Lucky Craft Micro Craw Pees single hook that I hope to use this year. I bought them 4 years back and just 2 days ago used one to catch a trout. Hoping to use them on some bluegill with the Iprimi XXUL rod.

Lots of good fun on that little thing. They get aggressive when they hit those. Good job, thanks for the share.

I have to ask what type bait caster and rod if you are throwing a crank bait that small? I would have to use a spinning rod and reel.
I've been fishing jigs for so long I've about forgot about all the little crankbaits I have. I need to get them back out. Thanks for posting.
I don't know the name of the lure. It's been in my box for so long, I can't remember when I bought it. I do have one of similar size made by Yozuri called the Snapbean.
The reel is a tricked out Abu-Garcia Black Max3 with an 8 gram shallow spool and hybrid ceramic bearings. This tiny crank is getting close to the edge of what I can cast on that reel.
The gills did hit the lure with vigor. Other times they would follow but not bite. I started fishing it with a start/stop action and that induced some more bites.

Those mini cranks come in both floating and sinking models, the floaters run a bit more shallow. I keep them separated for the times I want to work one on the surface or in very shallow water. The gills will hit them just like a popper.
