    Default Bakers Dozen

Was going to change my oil or wash a car I need to sell, but it’s too nice out!

Had to take advantage and toss in a Trout Magnet

Black/green did not disappoint. Hit up three ponds in about 75 minutes, netted 13 fish of various shapes and sizes.

Was surprised and delighted to get two bass, albeit one of them was likely born this morning

Might have hauled a few more in had I used live bait, but I’m hooked on this jigs!

Yea, that bass was a little guy, but they think they’re 3 lbs the moment they’re born! LOL A fine group of fish for your time on the water!

Ain't that the truth. A lot of fun, regardless of size. Some of those gills were a blast on the ultra lightweight as well.

Safe to assume I need to stick to live bait at night? I'm under the impression that jigs, Trout Magnets, etc work best during the day.

You had a good trip, I like the variety. One spring I threw a 1/64 and a small white curl tail and caught smallies, spotted and largemouth , all about that size. I must have found where they had cornered some bait. None passed the 6” mark. Shellcrackers are moving here, wish me luck this weekend.
