I thank you for the share, Tim & Peanut thanks you for your choice of care! Definitely my choice of attack = "Hand-feeding" aka "hand to hand combat"! although our clock-times vary greatly!!

Yep, a good story and sounds like the catch went home to a family looking for a nice meal of crappie. Thanks for the ride along.

I'm reading this while looking at 12" of snow. Nice catch but dang you for causing me to daydream.

Like the title said, I thought of y’all yesterday. I knew that I was one of the few that was able to get out while a lot of you were being punished with single digit temps. I was hoping to be a bit of happiness on some gloomy days. I remember them, some of them seem to go on forever. Hope this gets over soon and y’all can get back to business. Too cold to even work in the grudge.

Mid-TN is shut down.....cold, lots of ice. No way I could get out. If I could make it to Normandy the cold is too brutal for me....was at Nickajack 7 days ago and it was 70 degrees. But not a fish to be had...not even on the sonar. Expecting 5 more inches of snow tonight on top of the ice. Maybe in 7 more days I can get out. Meanwhile stuck in the house buying trout lures....LOL.
Regards

More rain tonight, but after that it starts looking better, and should be fishable Friday. There's always wind this time of year. Last week before the rain & cold, the dang spotted bass were on fire and clobbering my crappie jigs. One was 3.5 lbs - caught on the UL (Limber Tip) and 3 lb test. Gold/chartreuse hand-tie on a Daiwa Gek. glow jig head has been working awesome in stained water.
