I’ve always used ferrule/guide tip glue.

The ones I’ve used are heat activated and will come loose if needed like Randy said.

Mudhole or Netcraft would have it.

Used to most sporting goods stores sold a Fuji tip kit with multiples tips and a stock of the glue for pretty cheap. This tips will most likely be too large, but the glue is what you need.

If I’m careful I can drill out or heat up and save the original tip. The break is < 1” from the bottom of the tip top. No rush-I want to do this right. I think I will have to wrap on some thread to get the thickness right, and then glue the tip top. I don’t want to hijack the thread here, I’ll post another thread elsewhere.
    Thanks,
    Bob

Hot melt glue from any hardware store works, too.

I’ve always wondered what difference between hot melt glue and fertile glue is.

I might just try it out, I have some really awesome gorilla glue sticks.
