Had a fun 2 hours down at VFW Lake today. Had around 30 nice bull bluegills...colored up nice. Caught them on the new Abu Garcia Eradicator 6’ 7” Slow Taper Special. Lure was a 1 gram Daiwa Gekkabijin jig head #8 hook with a Sow Bug Trout Magnet body.....line was 2.3# test ester mono. This rod has an action great for bluegill....lot of fun. Water has cleared up since last trip down.....weather was great.

Great catch on a fun rod. Went last night to snatch some Crappie out of some brush with the 7.4 Corto but was greeted by a knocking lower unit, gear case woes I am afraid. Might be bucket time for me for awhile.
