Rained nearly all day today. Did let up a little towards evening and I couldn't resist a few quick casts around 7 PM. About 10 casts in a fresh wind from the east yielded 5 hard hits from the some nice gills and shell crackers. There were no nibblers on the Eurotackle Anisoptera, only quick, hard, solid takes. This thing has been money lately.
That last guy has part of his tail missing but he still managed to put up a pretty good fight. The wind and rain got to be too much and I packed it in. I'm sure there were more to be caught.
