It is .06mm or you can get the .04mm. I have been researching this line for a year now. But at these diameters I know I will not be able to see it even though it is hi-vis. The smallest line I ever tried was an .085mm polyester line in hi-vis. Took it off the same day I tried it out....literally could not see it.

I believe Techno2000 is correct. The 0.06 mm diameter would typically correspond to #0.1 PE, not #0.04 or #0.06. The lines I've mentioned are quite a bit thinner, they look a lot like fibers in a spider web. They are also very sensitive to the type of knot used and are quite difficult to handle. I am very happy with 0.074 mm ester (just fished it today, a small bluegill felt like a monster on that setup) and will probably go down to 0.06 mm PE, but I am unlikely to use anything thinner than that in the future.
Right, they say the JP Line # 0.4 but the mm is 0.011

Let me correct myself: Armored F+ Pro #0.06 is reported to be 0.04 mm in diameter. The same line in #0.04 would've been 0.03 mm in diameter, but it does not appear to be in production anymore.
I'm not offended Alphahawk. I prefer to fish a lure that I make with my own hands on a rod l built myself using the latest components available. I don't fish trout magnets but bought some just to play with. I did put one on a Loomis S781 IMX with micro guides I built and spooled with 4# fireline and fluoro leader. I didnt measure the distance but it cast well enough to fish with. The S781 is 78" long and has a ultra light power rating. Can't by these Loomis blanks anymore because Shimano Japanese company won't sell the blanks to custom rod builders. If I get time I might actually measure the exact distance I can throw the 1/32oz trout magnet. Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Today, I went to the creek near my house. It's loaded with green sunfish, not one big enough to eat. I started with a pink Panfish magnet and was getting fish after fish. As those little guys do, they tore up that poor little magnet. I decided to plop on my new pillhead with a green magnet. The jig head weight went up from 1/64 to 1/32, but wow, the bite almost died. It was amazingly disappointing. However, I did see fish on beds. They were lighter in color, so I'm guessing females. I did catch some dark males close by.
Do y'all get the magnets ripped up a lot?

Yes I do...it is aggravating but it’s just part of it. Most plastic lure designers have a way they want the lure to feel and by adding resin....or not....is the way they get the feel they want. For years I thought all plastic lures were designed that way so you would spend more money but that is not the case. I have tried some Japanese soft plastics that are even softer than the TM.....and cost a lot more. Leland’s Lures made a lure called the ThunderHawk Dancer. It would last forever....but it was pretty much designed for bass....although crappie loved it. They quit making it and I tried a lure out of Japan...the Ring Kick Tail. Same paddle tail design as the Dancer...exact same size. Yet the Ring Kick Tail don’t last too long.....very soft. Just the nature of plastic lures.
