I watched your video. Those instructions on the inside of the kit are instructions for fishing for trout. If you want to catch bluegill and shellcracker I advise you to work it across the bottom. I catch a ton of shellcracker and bluegill working along the bottom....even crappie will be on the bottom. Also done very well with smallmouth...once again twitching it along the bottom in rocks.

K9 Crappie Braid 0.06mm 5LB test.
I don't need to do a internet search. Been weighing them on my own Lyman powder scale for 50 years. Many of the Do-it molds are also off weight somewhat. I wouldn't take any manufacturers word on their products weight. Some are right and some are not.Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
I am not familiar with Fireline Crystal or K9 Crappie Braid, but I have very little faith in the diameters and breaking strengths reported by most manufacturers of USDM lines. If one is curious about a thin JDM line, I'd recommend taking a look at Duel Armored F+ #0.04 or #0.06 (those numbers correspond to Japanese braid numbering system, not diameters). I'd be surprised if one was not blown away by their thickness, especially when compared to some reportedly low diameter USDM lines.
K9 has a contact page. If you have questions, ask them. I'm not an elite fisherman, and doubt I could tell the difference between .04-.08mm line, but after fishing it I will be able to tell if it meets my needs. I hope you find what you need for your fishing styles.
I was having same thoughts as I was reading through this thread. US market jig head weights are not what they are stated....US market line breaking strengths are not what they are stated...not even close in most cases. The Japanese are so far ahead of us on fishing gear it is not even funny....lines...rods.....reels. Folks may debate the price charged........may say it is not worth it.....but one thing's for sure....they produce a superior product and there is no debate on that.
