I have a jar of the Berkeley Honey Worms and always forget to try them.
WV is not known for massive bluegill, though we do have some decent ones.I fished a 9 acre lake today, and struggled to find any gills of size.Digging through my tackle I found a bag of 2” gulp minnow, like magic the bite came alive.
I admit,I would have never thought 7-9” gills would attack a 2” minnow,I tend to downsize for gills, but perhaps I’ve been wrong all along.I also fished honey worms wacky style for the first time, I must say, wacky out fished the standard thread the hook style technique 5 to 1.

I’ve used honey worms for several years with good success, but rigging waky style under a float upped the game considerably.I believe the slow fall made all the difference, the float gives some casting distance.
I've caught tons of bluegill (and crappie) with those Gulp minnows. They are always in my tacklebox.

Fishing with slim Jim’s is like fishing with bacon.........ain’t gonna happen, that’s my food
the tiny gulp minnows are deadly gill baits , but way to expensive ,go bar s weenies and eat all of them except one and feed that one to the bluegill .....
