Welcome from N.C.
I am new to this forum as for as posting. However, I have been reading messages on here for a few months. I have enjoyed reading the tips about fishing for gills. I have used many of the tips since I am also relatively new to fishing. For years I was crazy about golf but now in my later years, I can't get enough of sitting on the lake and pulling in the bream.

They both involve using graphite sticks, so it's a natural progression!Originally Posted by bluegillcrazy

What makes a better lightning rod than a graphite fishing rod? NOTHING!

I generally fish on Lake Eufaula in Alabama. Caught a mess of bream on Saturday just fishing off the bank. My son caught a 4-5 lb catfish at the same spot a few weeks ago. It's a great way to spend the day with your kids.
