Thread: fly fishing for panfish

We get a shad run down here in January and February and they are the poor mans tarpon. Caught a few on the 4wt I spoke of between 16” and 19”. What fun that was. Hard to keep up with them on the small arbor reel I have.

I love the comments, they get you fired up to get out there. If my wrist doesn’t bark at me too much I’m thinking about that 3 wgt in the closet patiently waiting!
