    Default Cheater Cheater

    Panfish eater !
I know we jumped the gun and cheated per say , but fresh out of the ice and onto the table . Well you all know most definitively it just don't get much better.
So my sweetheart has the stuff ready and I get home from work and she says lets clean fish . The little one says yeah I will help and just like that ….25 panfish became 3 …...dinners .
So did we in fact consume our Taco Tuesday panfish a day early you ask ? And I would say guilty as charged and throw myself on the mercy of the court
The ladies "spooned" them and I cut em and while my wife went to pick up our curbside grocery order I cooked dinner . I suppose I could go into some long rant about how tasty they were with a cold beer and avocado salsa on them there crispy thin taco shells warmed in the oven to perfection . But to turn down this here wind I took some photos of said event and will let the pictures tell a thousand words
KABOOM was the word and is the word and yes I feel slightly guilty …..
I know we went a day early and it wasn't taco season just yet ,but
please have mercy on us , we couldn't resist those little jewels

Good deal all around. Those Rapala filet knives are hard to beat aren't they?

that one is rather old and has put the hurt on a many a fish and even a few deer in the bone out part .
they really are pretty good for what they are designed to do and the small one is great on bluegills for sure .
my wife uses it now a days in kitchen and I still use it when I have small panfish sometimes here and there these days as well

Oh yummy, good thing I just had lunch. Taco Monday, with family, and Taco Tuesday, at the docks, with the guys. Nothing wrong with that.

Looks good! I baked a couple of jumbo Walleye fillets dipped in Andy’s fish mix. This was the first time I tried this and it worked great! Almost tasted as good as fried fish.
