I’d be happy with the results of that trip. Good fun and low impact. Hoping for something to talk about after tomorrow morning.
I had a couple hours to fish my in-laws pond when I went to pick up the kids. Caught my first panfish of the year. Even caught a shell cracker! Nothing big but was was good to get out and actually experience fishing, rather than watching YouTube videos. I mainly used the Tict Icecube Rockin Finesse 69 paired with the Daiwa Presso Limited. I threw 0.5g Daiwa Geki..... jighead and various trout magnets. I even got to finally try out the Greenie Winnie. Thanks AH and VCM! Only found one taker on that color. Water was a little clear still. Look forward to trying them is more stained water and trout fishing.
I also broke out the Daiwa BBB telescopic rod and a Daiwa Freams 1000. It is a vastly different setup compare to the Tict and Presso Limited. But I will say that they pair up pretty good. I really like the Daiwa Freams for its value and its operation. Although it is not a Presso or Luvias, it is a really solid reel. Definitely the best $70 reel I have purchased. Managed to catch one small bass with a Whopper Plopper. First time I have used one. It felt good to feel a bite or two.

Good catch, I really like a mixed bag day. Winter has came back here, snow today but warm next week. Looks like a few of those Specks could fill up a soft Taco shell nicely.
I'd be tickled with those! Nice job!
Good deal, congrats
Looks fun!

That looks like a fun trip for sure! I’d love to have access to a pond like that with crappie in it :D
