You're real lucky that big bird didn't swoop down and grab that fish out of your hand.
No, I'm not paranoid, but one of our resident Bald Eagles was takin a keen interest in my activities the other day. He/she was eyeballin me for a good 30 minutes a few mornings ago, while I got into some bluegill over some brush I sank a few weeks ago, in 15ish FOW.
I was throwin a flashy, minner color slider, with a 1/16 oz chartreuse jig head, on 4 lb mono, from a 8' Crappie Max rod, and Tiny Lite reel.
Only got into about a dozen or so, but had an awesome time putting on a show for this hungry bird.
2 or 3 fish in, I musta dribbled some fish slime on the camera lens, as most of the pics were unusable !
Thanks for lookin.

eagles will take fish sometimes , I bet someone fed that one before . we had one come screaming down like a bullet thru a flock of sea gulls in Alaska a few years ago and hit the rockfish that we just tossed back .
