You’re rapidly becoming my hero! Great fish!
Lots of fish stacked up @ the dam but they are almost all small. Did find one nice hybrid (1st pic). Went back to the flat - found better fish - probably should stay in the east end. Only got 2hours in before the heat kicked in.

One of these days I will get to catch some “small” ones like that. Nice fish Sonny! I had to work in the office the last two days because the heat got me on Tuesday. Put me down for a bit.

Nice looking fish, first one is a Bluegill Redear Hybrid?
Well at least you got out and got a few nice fish in this heat. Fish in pics 2 and 3 are beauties,..one green head and one gold head. What time did you get off the lake? Yeah, it's 100 right now in the shade, and the hottest part of the day is about 4 pm! And usually here in this part of SoCal, we have this hot weather until almost Halloween.
Even though you were disappointed some you had a good day most of us would have traded for. Looking forward to vacation in a couple of weeks and maybe I can enjoy some mid week fishing. Thanks for sharing with us poor unfortunates.

Thnx guys
Stan - yep, they fight harder and longer like a Redear
Jeff - got off ~0930, had to gas up. Little bit cooler in Mo valley - not much.
Tim - got spoiled. Should be creeping up to "Prime Time" real soon....
some of those fish are sure pretty my friend , the copper band on some is just all that and the size of them as wild unfarmed fish is really ridiculous for sure .
congrats even if your dam luck ran out

We are lucky ketchn - got a reservoir in the right spot, full of food, and it don't get cold. Everyone of these CNBGs have a different color pattern - never seen two alike - like a fingerprint. Not sure why or how that happens....
