Anyone know of any hi-viz fluorocarbon out that in the 2-3lb test range?
I have know of the Seaguar R18 Yellow Hunter, but been unsuccessful so far in finding it for sale on a seemingly legitimate site, everywhere else is out of stock.
Haven't found anything else out there thats not clear or lo-viz green in color.
Don't care much if its yellow, green, orange etc...just that its easy to see.

Hi viz fluorocarbon will negate the purpose of using fluorocarbon wouldn't it? I use fluorocarbon so it disappears.

Most fluorocarbon is also lower stretch, but still some stretch, more abrasion resistant, lower diameter for strength, and over all more sensitive.
For some reason, you can not find the gold, orange or yellow in the fluro's
Most still use FC for a leader vs mono....in spite of the info in the video. FC has a specific gravity of 1.7 I believe it is. So if one is fishing micro jigs deep it really aids in getting the jig down and keeping it down....in other words FC line sinks. The line I provided the link to is unique in that it has 5 colors. One of the colors is clear. You tie to the clear section and yet you can still be a line watcher for the line above the water. Pretty darn good concept if you ask me.

Don’t now and never have used it so I have no comment.
