Night time here requires a whole new breed of bug killer, repellent, whatever. I’ve fished a float tube before but only once in FL. I felt like a snack, albeit a fat one. And also remember that not all wildlife has four legs, and night time is their time to hunt. I’ll just fish when the time allows and be thankful for my time to decompress and whatever I’m suppose to get.

We just have the standard skeeters and black flies up here. You folks have the exotic bugs, gators and legless critters to deal with. I wouldn't even go outside at night down there without a headlight, flashlight and flood light mounted on 870 full of #4 shot.
