Been slow and hard to fish. Lake is full pool now - full blown algae bloom - and the temp is starting to creep back up. Small window in the morning on both days before the wind picked up.

I like em. If a short trip generates fish like that, I’m in. Going to do the same thing. 3, maybe 4 hours and back home. Gonna give it to the pleasure guys and keep my frustration level low. Punched out today and dispatch sent me a text that they had everything covered and I didn’t have to work if I didn’t want to. DUH!! Already hooked up, pictures tomorrow—-I hope. Glad you got out Sonny, looked like it was worth doing.

Nice going Sonny. Beautiful fish. The fish seem to really like the blue Auto. I don't remember you using blue before this season. Has the water temp. reached 69-70 yet?

Thnx for the comments guys. Going to be a long summer - fog lifted and I counted 11 boats in the east end. Had a guy trolling into one of my markers, glad I was able to mark his route..... He did apologize.

Temps are right around the upper 60s now Jeff - there's a really bad algae bloom going on.
