Default Caught a big green sunfish!

Was at a local pond that I was told had crappie. Didnt catch any crappie but got this big ol greenie on a gulp minnow. I'm happy with it. It fought like a good crappie!
To give some perspective, I'm a pretty big guy with decently large hands and this thing filled my hand!Name: 20190524_162100.jpg

Very nice, BA !! If those dudes could get to a couple of pounds (on average) they'd be hard to handle on UL equipment

I've never caught a Green Sunfish as big as that one, but I have caught several Warmouth of that size range and got some serious pullage from them !!

I caught it on my lightest setup but it's a medium but still an aggressive fish that fought hard!

It surprised me because it's a public pond so I figured they wouldn't be very big. I need to go again and push hard for the crappie because if the sun fish are that big I hope the crappie are huge!
