That’s a big old whisker fish. What is a Louisiana Swamp Worm?

I launched my boat on the upper end of this lake. There's a good amount of current here, and the water was 10 degrees colder than lake hickory. I floated down and found a scour hole in the river bottom. I marked lots of fish on the sonar, so I anchored up and enjoyed my find. I caught lots of white perch and catfish. I also threw a bunch of fish back. The best bait was louisiana swamp worms. Every drop produced a bite in this area. I just ate some of the white perch and catfish, and it was delicious....

That was my question. Sounds like a fun time, love it when it’s hot like that.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Swamp worms are a variation of a red wiggler, but better. They breed faster, stay on the hook better, and have a strong odor. Best panfish worm that I have ever used, hands down. They are easily raised in worm beds and are known for their hardiness.

I saw your video using those worms. Very impressive. I was thinking about ordering some, do they handle shipping well in this heat? I'm not that far away - in Winston.

Those things are flat out not left alone by the fish. I don't know how well they will take the shipping, the temps are getting over 90 next week and that could be risky. I'll PM with you a local supplier that lives in winston.
I like fishing with them so much that i've gone into raising them full time, but won't have any for sale until next spring. I need at least 1/2 million in inventory to make it worth my time.
