    Default another good day @ LP 05 11 19

The great bite continues at Lake Perris. Was forced to tye up some jigs using QC rejects and 2 that were poured on an old style VMC hook. Amazingly they were responsible for many of the fish today.... Also been playing with foiling blades or using hi-lite on them - and that is really working out too.
Water is still going up and the temp is in the upper 60s. Still trolling between 17 to 24 FOW.

Pretty fish. Rain....more rain...and more rain here. Even a cold front coming in. Glad you got some good weather to fish.

    Regards

Wow, that 11.25 x 13 is just crazy and the next to last one looks like a plate with a tail! Good catch as always.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Nice to see that you are still on some good fish and you are getting some girth measurements. Wish we would have done that with the bigger ones while I was out there. Can't wait for you to catch a 12" and see what the girth is on a fish that size. Especially if it's a tall fish. Still believe those bigger ones were 15+ inches girth. Did you find that mold yet?

Most of the female on this day had dropped their eggs. The one I measured is post spawn....
Found my Chub mold - not any of the molds Crazy Angler cut for me - yet.

I have like a dozen molds. Can’t imagine looking through all that you have. Someone smarter than me could set up an organization plan with pics and correlating numbers on the computer so you could look it up and go pic it out of a crowd.

There’s one fish that looks like a poster fish for Jennie Craig. Just fat, well fed. Awesome fish as always.

I wouldn't want to even try to organize all of the equipment Sonny has. Between the vises, molds and rods and reels, Wow!!!!! Lot's of cool tackle..
