He’s posted pics of some of the vises and molds. I’m with you. It would make my head hurt.

I'm guilty of OCD with the fishing tackle & anything that involves lure crafting Tim. It was much worse when I was wrapping rods and Bluewater fishing. When me and Jim were digging through boxes - was finding molds that I didn't know anything about....

How fast are you normally trolling? I usually try and keep it under 1 mph but not sure if that is too slow or even too fast. I dished for bass for a few hours Saturday then spent the last 2 hours trying for the panfish.

Was fishing the the east end on Saturday. I'm trolling ~.6 to .8 mph - speed up when I see trees. Your line diameter and the weight of your jig should dictate your speed.

Thanks, 4lb and 1/16 I have been running around .8 mph. I was on the east end as well, tried around that flooded high spot just as you get to intothe east end area

Were you there when the jet skier was making his rounds?

I'd drop down to the 2lb test and lighter jigs - you might get a lot of hang ups there with the heavier jigs. I've been trolling further east - the end of the old road. If you stay with the 4lb and 1/16 - fish in 21 to 26 FOW. Check out my report from today.

Lately there always seem to be Jet skiers out there. I have tried finding lighter jigs online but 1/16 seems to be the lightest I can find, at least in the underspin style. Are you talking about the road that is straight off of the back side of the island across from the beach?

Yes - they took the asphalt off before they refilled it - the road bed is still there. PM Jungle Jim he knows how to tye the jigs you need. There's guys on this site that sell jigs - some might work @ LP.
