    Default Staycation gills!

I’m new to forum but have been lurking for quite some time. Thanks to a few members I am now truly and thoroughly infected with the JDM equipment addiction.

I jumped right into the deep end and grabbed a Tict ice cube Rockin drift from Digitaka when it was available and all I can say is it’s the most amazing piece of fishing equipment that I have ever held in my hands.

I took last week off of work for a fishing staycation in NC to try to get into some slabs in my kayak. Didn’t happen. I had so much fun the first day catching bluegills and one pound bass that I didn’t do anything else for a week. A whole week! Every bluegill or shellcracker no matter the size pits up an amazing fight on this equipment.

Very nice. The savings from your staycation paid for your equipment. At least, that would be my story.

JDM ultralight fishing is a blast. I gave up on my bass fishing gear last year because of them, just couldn't put them down.

Pretty fish and of course the “Drift”....LOL. Really no other rod is quite like it. I have had the same jig heads..at least I think they are same.....for a while but must admit Ive fished them very little.

    Regards

I can't wait until my Triple Cross rod arrives!!! I think I'm going down the JDM road, too. As soon as I'm done with my latest paint job, it's on! I'm not taking anymore work for the next 4 weeks!!! Shellcracker, here I come!!

Nice fish! I wish I could afford an Ice Cube rod! I mean I could, but my wife might not like it...you never know where this JDM road will lead?

The jig heads are JDM Hayabusa brand name.
Falcon Fina (Fina) FS 213-8-1 Ajing exclusive jig head - Asian Portal Fishing - Japan Brand Fishing Tackle they worked really well but then so did any of the Japanese jig heads Iv tried. My brother ribbed me because of the color. He said he wasn’t using lavender jig heads... but hey the fish liked em.
