Went out yesterday, with a neighbor and caught a big skunk. Haven't been out since Oct. Surgery didn't work - almost worse. Toured the new level - they topped off - then dropped the level ~2'. Hope it' not a new trend and they need to stop now for the spawning fish. Had to swap batteries to get going......

Talked with Prankster and he suggested I start where I finished last year. Of course I didn't listen to him - so 1st thing this morning me and the neighbor took off to the dam. Long troll for nothing. Went back to the island and found a fish for me and one for Jeff - which was very encouraging. Fished ~24' - water temp was almost 60*. We saw 54* on the south side. Need to do some fine tuning.
