    Default north east la bream

Looking for some bream holes to take my son. I have not fished for bream in years. I normally crappie fish. But he is ready to go!!! I have to let him do good the first trip. I fish Darbone & Black bayou mostly. I do good on crappie but do not know where to really get on the bream. So if anyone can help I will trade some crappie holes.

    Default Black Bayou

Hey when you put in at Black Bayou go out the boat rund then go to Hannaas run. I would start fishing on the right hand side bank you should find some there but if not you will as you get close to the R.R. track. Do you know where the old boat landing was on the south side of the lake if you do go east about 500 yards used to catch some Chinks. there long years ago.

Hey "gone"... how deep is the Hannah's Run area? My old tackle box got stolen from my storage room and my portable depth finder was in it, so all I got left is the mount and transducer! I'd love to catch some bream or 'white perch' from Hannah's Run. I plan to fish BB tomorrow, 5/5... you fishing tomorrow?
If fishing was a job, I'd be a stone-cold workaholic!!

I lived in ouachita parish for 10years up until last fall and moved to shreveport. I have fished black bayou tons of times. Your best shot at finding some good gills and crackers is to put in and go straight back to opposite end from the boat lane. There will be a big group of trees back there and usually holds good fish. It is a very clear lake so I would recommend not using high vis line. Grass shrimp and crawfish have worked good in black bayou.
