    Default St Croix lite action Crappie Ketch


    Dropped some Crappie Buckets on one of our Favorite crappie spots to freshen up the spot.Gave them a day to load up with crappie.
    Got to my spot right at daylite .
    Cast my crappie jig JDM Med lite with 4 lb vanish fished about 30 min only 2 takers.I know they crappie are their caught a limit Monday.
    Switched to my St Croix lite action 2lb vanish like turning on a light switch Game on.Loved it.
    Thanks Hawk,Skeet,and others on this lite action adventure Loving and learning.Can teach a Bass Fishermen new Tricks.

    I suggest "handling" as well as "looking". Rod actions are all over the board. Speaking of boards, I once handled a Falcon "ultra light" that was as stiff as one.

    Really like shimano 1000 reels going to these ultra lites need smaller for balance 500 series am looking at!! We are not far from some good sporting good stores we can test them out thanks again loving the lite action stuff.
    really like the St croix lite action 7' thinking on the ultra lite St Croix,Browning has some super ultra lites we are looking at as well.
    a little leery about ordering form Japaneses sites ordered some reels.Just me am confident in shimano reels.

    Jackie, what the exact model information on the St. Croix? Was it the rod or lighter line that made the bigger difference in your opinion, I know both were a factor.
